Cheap Creep

I am newly aware of this outrageous creeper/stiletto hybrid – as seen paraded down the catwalk for Cheap Monday A/W09, courtesy of Office (UK).

As fervid a creeper fan as there ever was, my first impression felt as if the holy lord himself had peered down into the complex inner workings of my mind, and breathed life into these fantastical azure dreams that blazed before me!

But wait – what mischief was here? My initial soaring spirits flagged instantaneously as a needle-like stiletto heel emerged to set loose the wind from my sails.

Oh, the audacity! The stalwart serrated platform sole of a creeper, deeply imbued with the spirit of reprobate punk miscreants, cross-hatched with the spurious stiletto spindle of the haute monde? A travesty!

For my money I would much prefer to witness the marriage of the Creeper’s delinquent spirit with the alluring structure of the Chloe Doc Martens – not excluding the future possibility of a mind-melding tasseled lovechild with the Emma Cook for Topshop hiking boot of seasons past.
