I’m in two minds about this post, as it involves the tragic revelation of a treasured secret that I’d hoped to carry safely with me through deaths door, but it would be greedy of me not to share, and the folks at 2nd Hand Land deserve to be touted about. This little Redfern hole in the wall is one of the richest untapped vintage resources in the county. The owners are lovely, the treasures are plentiful, and the prices are paltry. I cry a tiny tear inside knowing that I can no longer hoard these riches to myself, but 2nd Hand Land has given me so much and I owe it to the universe to give something in return. Thank you for the tassled kimono’s, kitten printed velvet bodysuits, coveted cameras and recorded rarities, my wardrobe would so much duller, and wallet so much emptier without your nurturing care. They’re one of the few genuinely rewarding places to shop in this town, so become a fan, explore their website, and for heavens sake get down to the store while the getting’s good.
