There are many amongst us who prefer the cover of night to the light of day. Tobias Faldt is one of them, his images a testament to what ordinarily goes undocumented. Faldt throws a flash over his subjects to briefly illuminate that moment where darkness and light meet. The team behind Now Now and WON Magazine are similarly enchanted by the moment between light and dark, albeit metaphorically, so they’ve created OWN Books to print as they see fit. How apt then that their first endevour be from Faldt himself, 581c is the first in a ten part collaboration set to span five years.
