This Friday at Hell Gallery in Melbourne, Brianna Lee Martin is proud to present the launch of her new label Bleem Weaver, and a one-off exhibition of hand crafted woven bags and scarves. Bleem Weaver combines Brianna’s creative love of weaving, pattern making and sewing; showcasing her technicolour collection of inventive yet resourceful items, made from wool and leather. Each piece has been uniquely designed and crafted by Brianna. The gallery is open this Friday, Saturday and Sunday only, for viewing and sales.
This isn’t strictly food I know. In fact I didn’t bake these at all, I didn’t even grow them in my own garden, though I wish I did. This week’s post is inspired by a spring posie of poppies. It’s just a reminder about how pretty a nice bunch of flowers can make a room look and feel. Spring is the perfect season for flowers, when much flora has sprung and they are in full bloom. You can probably pick fresh ones from a park nearby, or snip a few stems of your neighbours’ bush.
This week’s Cheeky Freak is Tang Wen, AKA Miss Universe China… loving those sound effects babes! Thanks Radge…!

Fresh starts all round today, the clean slate of Spring is upon us. What better way to get into the swing of things than with some fresh ink and a little history lesson from the good folk at Inkship. Some other good folk who don’t seem adverse to the idea of a tattoo or two have just set up a rather fine looking diner in inner-Sydney so we popped on down to check it out.
