It’s fair to say that a lot of people are addicted to eBay. How can you resist sitting in the comfort of you own home, finding the most amazing bargains online? Nothing beats the feeling of winning a smartly played bidding war, pipping your opponent at the post and finally receiving your package in the mail, in all its glory.
After spending countless hours scouring eBay for aforementioned bargains, I discovered the incredible eBay store Claire Inc.
Claire Inc. is a rare find, with incredible hand picked vintage and one-off gems from Sonia Rykiel, Dianne von Furstenberg, Charles Jourdan and incredible Chanel accessories, amongst many others.
Director Belinda Humphris runs the store out of Adelaide, and if you are lucky enough to reside in Adelaide or be passing through, don’t be afraid to make an appointment to visit the showroom and view these incredible items for yourself. Happy Shopping.

Last week was Thanksgiving, a secular holiday celebrated in America and Canada where thanks is given for the past year’s harvest. I had never celebrated Thanksgiving, and to be honest, didn’t really know what is was all about, until now. This year we held a Thanksgiving dinner party at my mother’s, a replacement Christmas of sort. And since our garden is currently growing a such a rate, perhaps this was good reason to have a harvest festival, American style. And if no other reason but that fact that it is a good excuse for a feast, it is the only time you might find pumpkin on your desert plate, in a pie, and sometimes with marshmallows.
The meal consisted of turkey, ham, scallop potatoes, sweet potato mash with marshmallows, roasted shallots and broccolini (brussels sprouts were out of season), orange, rocket, radicchio, walnut and cranberry salad, corn bread, stuffing, gravy and pumpkin pie!
I wanted to post more than one image this week, ’cause the food just looks so good. Click to view the images
Another delicious taste of what comes every Wednesday from CC Bakes.
